Zync Global Private Limited is a relatively new company in the market, which is dedicated to providing a range of affordable tablets to consumers. Following some great devices on offer, (two of which made our Best budget-friendly Android tablets in India), the company has added another feather to its cap, with the official launch of the Zync Z1000.
Zync Z1000 is a powerful device, available for a low price tag, and with the unique feature of being upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The tablet also comes out with built-in 3G support, which is not seen with many budget-friendly devices, which are more dependent on the 3G dongle.
Here’s a quick look at the specifications of the Zync Z1000 tablet:
- 9.7″ HD display with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution
- 1.5 GHz Cortex A8 processor
- 1 GB RAM
- 2 MP rear camera
- 0.3 MP front facing camera
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (upgradeable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean)
- 8 GB internal memory, expandable via microSD upto 32GB
- HDMI, micro USB support
- 7,000mAh battery
Ashish Garg, Director of Zync said that this was their first attempt at launching a tablet with a multi-touch HD display with a higher screen resolution, and a face unlocking feature. He also confirmed that the device will launch with Android 4.0 on-board, will be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in the coming months. Of course, great specifications isn’t always enough, and the company is throwing in freebies worth Rs.1,350 which include a lycra pouch, screen protector, pair of earphones, and a free one month subscription to BigFlix.
The Zync Z1000 tablet is already available from e-commerce sites like Homeshop 18 and Flipkart for just Rs. 10,990.
